PORTFOLIO AND IT’S REQUIREMENTS

An artist's portfolio is an edited collection of their best artwork intended to showcase an artist's style or method of work. A portfolio is used by artists to show employers their versatility by showing different samples of current work. Typically, the work reflects an artist's best work or a depth in one specific area of work.

  • Concept Design of portfolio should show your interest in storytelling and your ability to visualize it. You can choose an existing story or create your own which you will then execute original design ideas that include the following requirements:
  • Portfolio consists of minimum 10 pieces digitally in a landscape, PDF format of your best and most recent work.
  • Portfolio should feature all four major subject areas : environments, characters, architecture and hardware

  • Portfolio should Include early concept sketches, still life , perspective , figure drawings , portrait , development and inspiration photos along with finished renderings of your design ideas for each subject area. It is important to show your thinking process from rough to finish. This process should flow as follows: Inspiration photos-Rough sketches-Value studies or Silhouettes-Final rendering.
  • Submit any genre of work you wish , but not limited to: digital design, video/film, photography, sculpture, jewelry, painting, drawing, etc.
